As the platform is launched in August, then the traffic light system will not really kick into gear until that time. However, we can give you lots of updates about the building phase over the next three months. The full financial model and contracts are kept under lock and key, as those are the crown jewels of the business. However, we’re happy to share those with any existing investor or meet face to face with any new potential investors.

Our accountants devised a more tax efficient share ownership system and therefore we’ve finally sorted the SEIS shareholders agreements. It simply means that in the short term, we’ve allocated more shares, than was agreed with investors, on the basis that those will dilute to cover the 10% share options pool we’ve allocated to attract great talent in the future. This makes absolutely ZERO difference for all current shareholders. However, these changes now mean that we have an additional tranche of £43,000 available for you to invest via the amazing benefits of SEIS. To that end, we would like to close this round by the end of June and therefore we’re inviting you (and hopefully bring a friend) to an investor update night, at our offices in Farringdon, from 6.30pm on Wednesday 6 th June. So, in other news:

  • The capabilities of the platform have evolved exponentially since its inception, in addition to the service YK will provide in its role as an oversight and control tool – it has become clear that the amount of useful data we’ll now be able to offer our clients is undoubtedly superior to anything comparable in the industry.
  • We are developing the platform in ‘sprints’ – This allows us to review and refine much more quickly – This process is allowing our CPO and CTO to test and improve the UX constantly ‘on the fly’ without impeding our overall deadlines.
  • The YK ‘brand identity’ and ‘tone of voice’ have been worked on significantly – We believe communication, trustworthiness and clarity are key to engaging with our clients. – These characteristics are being weaved into our graphic style and copywriting.
  • We have our first three clients lined up to use our BETA version (Shape, Make Homes & BoultbeeLDN).
  • We have finalised the contract with the FCA approved Mortgage and Insurance provider (Protect FS) for Yourkeyz Money.
  • We have identified various off-shore companies to do the upload of all the digital content for each new development we secure. We narrowed it down to two companies (Philippines and Bulgaria) and the company in Bulgaria were more professional and could scale more easily if we secure more clients than we’ve forecast.
  • On May 24th we are exhibiting and have a 10-minute pitch slot at the https://www.privateinvestorsummit.com/ where we’re looking to start the ball rolling with investors ready for the £275k fund raise from October 2018.
  • We have also won a rigorous selection process to exhibit and present our company at www.startupgrind.com/europe/ where hundreds of tech investors will be present.
